amazing all re-done and so clean and space to figure out and stretch! pet friendly just PLEASE clean up after yourself and animal.
I go to the greyhound event in Dewey Beach every year and i always stop here on the way. There is a huge facility for bathrooms which are always kept well stocked and sparkling clean, drink and snack machines which are way overpriced, a visitos center which I have never been inside, but the biggest attraction for me is the park and dog walk area. Picnic tables and benches throughout and lots and lots of trees. Also there are supplied doggie bags and garbage cans available. There is even a dog water station available and now a fenced dog play area.
What a great rest stop!!!! Very clean and the employees are super friendly! AND....they have 2 fenced in dog parks!!! If you have dogs cooped up in a car for a while traveling, you know what an awesome treat it is to find a park where they can run and blow off some steam. Whoever came up with this at a rest stop is a genius!!! Thank you from people and pups alike ☺️
Beautiful place to relax and take a break from driving or just to clear your mind of stress. All the flowers are beautiful in the summer time. Great place
Easy on/off from Rt. 1. Clean restrooms and a small reception/gift shop area. Well lit parking and numerous vending machines. A wawa is located nearby also.
