I didn't get my tanks filled because they won't come down my dirt driveway. So in December while no one was home without any notice and propane still in my tank they came and picked up the tanks! A phone call... email or letter of notice would have been a nice courtesy since I have kids and it's my cooking is propane. The sad part is the driveway was never an issue until after tanks were set. And this is the only company that couldn't deliver more propane down the driveway.
Everything started off just fine with this company. Had a good rate to start with. The guy who installed our tanks was very knowledgeable and friendly. But, money was tight this winter so we were careful with our propane usage and didn't need a refill. So, because we didn't refill, Delaware propane charged us an additional $200 "tank rental fee". This is only because we didn't refill and they didn't make money off of us. I told the representative there to come get their tanks and we will be going to a new provider. And another thing, in my line of work when a customer wants to leave you and go to a competitor, you try to retain them and show that they are valued. But she just says ok and sets up a work order. That's poor customer care. So if you go with Delaware propane, be sure to read the fine print in your contact. Because they are going to take your money one way or another.
