The park is a perfect stop for tourists with kids who travel to Delaware for a vacation. There is a sheltered picnic area overviewing two nice play sets and a climbing wall. I saw locals use the picnic area for birthday celebrations, park's extensive ealways for jogging, walking, and biking with kids. The park has a lot of open area and is good for using kites, badminton and all kinds of outdoor games.
Nicely kept park good for gatherings and events. Nature filled walking trails.
The 1 mile jogging path is well marked with level ground and benches every tenth of a mile. There is little shade on path or benches so heat may be an issue in the summer for elderly and pets.
This is a beautiful well maintained park. This review will highlight jogging path and softball fields.

Overall this is a beautiful space to spend a day. There are shade trees throughout open park areas and plenty of covered picnic tables.

This is both a public park, and nature tour for anyone at all. Parking is free. There are tracks, playground, ball parks, and a good explanation of the wetlands of our geographic area.
The softball fields are gorgeous. There are 3 with separate parking, portable toilets, and bleachers. Again shade is absent so bring your own for day games. There are no concessions. This area has heavy wetlands so bugs may be an issue in the evenings.
