Bombay Hook NWR is a great place to see Avocets. I wish there was always a knowledgeable birder with a good scope where the is a bird I don't know. But if you're lucky there might be one.
Nice visitor’s center. Clean with really helpful staff. The roads are not really conducive with walking long distances.
