This used to be my favorite liquor store but since they jacked prices up recently I'm not coming back. The wine I bought went up by 2 dollars after the fact I could get it cheaper already a mile down the road. They claim it's liquor taxes that went up. OK? So what's that got to do with me? You don't pass the buck when your already overpriced. My new favorite liquor didn't raise prices for some phantom tax hike. And that's why I go there.
This place is okay. I don't buy liquor often but my favorite place when I do Larry's is too far down the street. I find the employee's here vary from annoying to helpful to suspiciously helpful to I hate my job. The place like most liquor stores is large with a large selection and only the drunks seem to navigate to their favorites with ease. The casual person might be walking around in here for a while till they figure out what they want. Last time I was here I think I brought wine.
Good size variety. Perfect hours. It's a great store for Smyrna to have!
