John Barkley Heating & Air is the best!
Heater stopped working in the morning. So after reading all the good reviews we gave them a call. Picked up after a ring or 2 and was able to make it over to our house that evening! Great service and very friendly. He explained everything he did and how the new parts worked. Would highly recommend!!!
My wife and I then asked him for a huge favor, to look at her brother's A/C which was down since that past Thursday. Please read his story below... as he gives more details. John follows us to his house and looks at his A/C, discovers he also has the part on his truck, and had my wife's brother A/C up an running by 6:00 pm on that same Sunday! John was sooo nice and his EXCELLENT Customer Service is something that is sorely missing today. Needless to say, I'm sticking with John Barkley!!

It was Sunday afternoon around 2:30 pm when my wife and I got home and happen to see John Barkley's truck at our neighbor house. Once we got inside our home, we noticed that the temperature in the house wasn't as cold as when we left. I checked the outside compressor and it was running, however my refrigerant line was icing up. I knew this meant either I was low on refrigerant (due to possible refrigerant leak) or my blower motor was not running. I notice the blower motor wasn't running on the air handler and told my wife we have a problem. We looked outside for John but he had already left our neighbor's house. So we called our regular HVAC guy and had to leave a message in the general office voicemail because no one picked up, remember this is Sunday afternoon around 2:30pm. We then googled John Barkley name and came across his business and phone number. Took a chance and called the number, to my surprise, he pick up. He was around the corner at the gas station. I told him my problem and he said he would be there in 10 minutes to check it out! He went to the air handler and discovered my capacitor on my blower motor went bad... he had a new capacitor on his truck and had my up and running in no time flat... on a Sunday, now around 3:30 pm! His prices are extremely fair and we gladly paid him!!
Just wanted to make sure word got out on how well Barkley Heating took care of me. Basic run down is A/C stopped working Thursday night. Called another company 8 a.m. Friday morning. Explained what I believed to be the problem. Was told to leave A/C running and they would be out tomorrow between 11 and 1. Showed up at 2 told me to turn A/C off they couldn't do anything because it was frozen they would come back tomorrow. Showed up at noon looked at it for 5 minutes and said they needed to order a part but not sure when they would get it. John happens to be across the street from my sister who's A/C just stopped working as well. He repairs their A/C as is asked If he would look at mine. Mind you this is Sunday at around 4 p.m. now. He comes over and by 6 he has my A/C running and has cleaned and serviced it for the exact same price I was quoted for just replacing the motor. All business his way from now on!
